Learning Story on Science

Hi bloggers today this blog post is about science learning story it has my favourite and second favourite science experiment.

The last few weeks in Hurumanu science we have been doing really fun experiments like the dirty water one.

My favourite experiment I did was the scone experiment because we got
to eat them at the end, but they didn’t taste good. What we had to do was either with or without lemonade
and with or without butter,
we did normal scone and lemonade scone.
The next time we did science we got to measure the scones and eat the scones that is why it was my favorite.
My team was me, Matangi and Nathan we worked really well together.
Image result for scones See, so yummy but not the ones we made.
My second favourite was the crystals. I did the borax one but it didn’t work so that was depressing but its still my second favorite.Image result for borax crystalsI liked learning about home chemistry and the different categories that come under it and I would learn it again. Also I like having science because we do really fun activities. BLOG YOU LATER!!!

Cleaning up around our school

Hi bloggers today in C.I.P we cleaned up  around our school me Zack and Daniel cleaned the field we didn't get to do all of the field but we did some of it we didn't get much time too and did you know this. We may be perceived as clean and green by the rest of the world, but we have significant problems in NZ. In New Zealand we discard 15.5 million tonnes of waste each year. That is 3,200kg for every kiwi! Right now we only recycle 28% of this waste. Did you know that? BLOG YOU LATER!!!

Voting on what to build out of rubbish

Hi bloggers Today in C.I.P we voted on what to build out of the rubbish we collected. The score was 20, 3 and 40+ the H representing our school got 20, birds + native animals got 40+, and send a little message to people that got 3.

Image result for is a turtle a native animalso we are doing birds + native animals I am hoping to do a turtle I voted for birds + native animals what would you have voted for. here's a fact about turtles. Turtles are classified as amniotes, along with other reptiles, birds, and mammals. Like other amniotes, turtles breathe air and do not lay eggs underwater, although many species live in or around water. Do you think this is an a interesting fact? I think it is. BLOG YOU LATER!!!

Community Impact Project

Hi bloggers today C.I.P is doing some questions about rubbish because we are cleaning up around our community and then building something out of the rubbish.

In your own words, What is the Project?

The project is about Making stuff out of rubbish to help around our community.

What is the purpose?

The purpose is to help our environment by picking up rubbish.

How much rubbish do you think we are going to collect? Why do you think that?

I reckon that we will collect a lot of rubbish because we really want to help around our community.

What colours do you think we will see the most? Why?

I reckon we will see grey and blue the most because when I go for a walk I see them the most.

What type of art would you like to create?

I would like to do a dog because they are my favourite animal.

What crystals worked out best and why?: the salt because for sugar and borax need way more and the sugar is the hardest.

Conclusion: they were really easy but when they came out they didn't work so that sucks.
