Hurumanu Digital Tech
Hi bloggers
Today in Hurumanu Digital Tech we had some fun with scratch and Sphero well we didn't really get to play with Sphero as the batteries were low and needed to charge so we went on scratch for the last 15 minutes.
Scratch is an app that you can go on to make cool things like recording your voice and making it look like someone is saying what you said and you can change the way your voice sounds. You can make it sound like a robot or make it slow or fast. You can do many things on scratch. I created a cat spinning around saying, "Hi there!" in a creepy voice, so that is scratch for you.
Sphero is a type of robot that you can control. It is a sphere and it rolls around where you want it to and an ipad will control it.
These 2 thing do have stuff in common. They both have block coding stuff that can be set up.
I would prefer scratch because you can make your own game and make your voice funny and that's what I'd prefer.
I could use scratch to make a game and prove that being a robot is dangerous.

Hurumanu P.E
Hi bloggers today's blog post is about the team French Fries they taught us how to play bench ball but everyone basically knew how to play that.
First thing they said to do was their warm ups and they were 20 high knees, 20 width's and 40 star jumps we did that for 5 minutes and then they taught us how to play. The first games were Tz year 8's Vs Bh year 8's and while that game was going Tz year 7's Vs Bh year 7's versed each other Tz year 7's won that game out of Bh year 7's and Bh year 8's won out of Tz year 8's.
For the second game it was year 7's Vs year 8's we did good but they got more players on the bench and then we started to get more players on the bench but then it was me, Tevita, Miguel Vs Gerald and Gerald is really good at sport and he took a long shot and the people court it and I was so surprised.
In Maths we learn't how much cans of paint you need to paint a football field. The question was hard because we had to solve the hole entire thing and my group wasn't even helping me so that made it way harder but I still figured it out and I said I was happy with it so that was that done. For the Graduate profile I worked successfully with others by helping my team and getting them on the bench and communicating with them.
hope you liked reading what we did in Hurumanu P.E. BLOG YOU LATER!!!

What We Have Done In WoodTech So Far
Hi bloggers today is our first blog for Wood Tech and this blog post is about what we have done so far in Wood Tech.
In Wood Tech I made a car. first we had to make the plan on how we are going to cut it out. Once we did the plan we started to cut it out. After we finished cutting it out we painted it the paint I used was red for the whole car, black for the words on the car and black and white mixed together for the windows. Then we smoothed the tires for the car and I painted them black, after we screwed the tires on the car and we got to take them home.
For the second thing we build it was a love heart on a stick first you make your love heart but plan it out first. After you have planed your heart out you write what ever you want on it. Then get a stick and drill a hole in the bottom of the love heart and glue the stick where you drilled the hole in the heart. Then get another peace on wood and drill out a hole but not all the way then glue the heart on the stick to were you drilled and then paint the heart whatever colour you want.

Recycling Stationery
Hi bloggers today in C.I.P me and Camryn made a poster about recycling Stationery it was fun to make but it took awhile to make but anyway here it is.
We are going to spread our message by sharing it to other Schools and to the schools Facebook page. I reckon the other Schools that we shared it with will help us, I reckon that we will get up to at least 100kgs or higher. I recon we should donate the donation money to KidsCan Charity because they help the kids that go without the basics. Anyway thanks for reading this blog post and BLOG YOU LATER!!!

Maths interchange finished the red book
Hi bloggers last week in maths interchange I finished the red maths book p.g 99-101 I didn't do the blog last week when I finished it because I ran out of time so i'm doing the blog now anyway heres what I did.
So this is the first p.g 99-100-101
P.g 99
P.g 100-101
For maths my favourite activity has been the red maths book because we had to use different strategies here is one of the strategies 6 rows of 4 would be 6X4=24 and that is how you know what how much there are without counting them. A Challenge for me this term is doing the speed test with times tables.co.nz where you pick 4 or more different times tables and do them in a certain amount of time. My goal for multiplication is to get faster and it because right now i'm pretty slow at it so that is one of my goals and that is what I want to achieve. Anyway hope you guys like this post and.
