Hi bloggers in period 2 we did C.I.P and we are going to plan a colouring in competition and there are some questions on the TV so I will answer them.
What are some things we talked about in your group discussion? In my group discussion we talked about how we were going to do what we need to do. How we will get what we need and who we need to email.
How do you think we should organize this event? I recon we should organize this event by emailing the shops that we have decided to email. Then getting the picture that we have decided on.

The Big Picture
Hi bloggers today in science we watch a video on Click to see a video!
- What animals keep our jackets warm? Birds make them warm because of their feathers.
- What animal makes our boots waterproof? Cows
- Where does the water in our rivers come from? melting snow from the mountains, pooring of rain from the clouds.
- Why do we need healthy rivers? because we drink it and fish live there and if there were no fish we wouldn't have food.
- What are some of the good things about mosquitoes? without mosquitoes we would have dirty water, bad drinking water and fish would die of starvation.
- Why are bees dying? Insecticide is a poison to bees that kills them.
- What do bugs do to our leaves? Distribute seeds for plants, pollinate flowers, get rid of rubbish the list goes on.
- Reduce
- Reuse
- Recycle
- How much dung would we be in if there were no dung decomposers? like sheep, cows, humans. BLOG YOU LATER!!!
3G4G
Hi bloggers today we went to the 3G4G Temple when we first got there we got greeted by them. We went into the 3G4G Temple and they teached us about what 3G4G means 3G means the 3 goods and 4G means the 4 givings I can't remember what they were but the next they split us into 2 groups my group went to make some oragamey flowers and the others went.
When we finished that we watched a video it didn't make much sence to me but after that we went outside to get a wash abal tatu my one didn't really work so I got some more water on it then it worked. We got something to eat and drink my cookies fell on the ground but that was algood because apparently they tasted like playdow and the water didn't taste like normal water witch was yuck.
Then we went up stairs to their library and the second group went to make the oragamey flowers their library was pretty small. Then we went to bathe the buder a lot of people didn't want to do it so they ask to take 2 big steps backwards and then asked the people that wanted to do it make a line behind the 5 buders after the people were done we got these bells with one of those spinney things on a plastic stick but on top of the bell. That was the end and they greated us onto the bus where we went back to school. So that was it for this blog so BLOG YOU LATER!!!

our 3 science goals
Hi bloggers today we are doing science again.
Science Badges:
'Conservation'
- Climate Science
- Global Warming
- Recycling
- Renewable Energy
- Fossil Fuels
- Ecology
- Our Planet
- Water
- Plants
- 15 Points are needed to get a badge
- A high standard of work.
- All experiments are written up ( Aim, Materials, Steps, Conclusion)
- Two photos of your experiment
- 6 sentences at least for a conclusion
Science will be twice per week.
- Lesson 1: This will be an Experiment that involves blogging. You will be expected to open a new post, copy Mr Palmer's blog and paste it on your new post.
- Lesson 2: This will be an Investigation that relates to the topic from Lesson 1. It will be own choice and displayed in a way that you prefer. For example - PowerPoint, Doc, etc
BLOGGING.
All the blogs and science lessons will be displayed on Mr Palmers blog:
Bookmark it!
Expectations:
- 1 blog must be completed per Hurumanu lesson.
- A completed blog must have the four headings ( Aim, Method, Findings, Conclusion), correct writing and punctuation under each heading and be published. No post, no points.
- 2 images of the experiment / investigation on the blog.
Using the Scientific method of investigation:
Aim: What the experiment / investigation is about.
Method: Instructions on how the experiment / investigation is carried out. This includes the equipment.
Findings: What have we learnt or found out from our experiment / investigation. This is called Data, Information or Facts. It is displayed in a chart, table or picture.
Conclusion:
My Hurumanu Science Goals:
1. My first goal is to always be safe around dangerous objects. Not only when they are on but when they are off as well.
2. My second goal is to not fidget with anything so I know what I am doing, instead of not knowing what I am doing so I don't get in trouble.

3. My third goal would be to do all of my work in the time I am given. Do the amount of work that I have to do as well.

Hurumanu P.E question bench ball
Hi bloggers today I going to ask some question that Mr Goodfellow put on the white board
1. Describe the game you played this morning.
(Rules, How to play)
We played bench ball where their are two benches that are far apart but not that far one person on each team are on the bench. The two teams switch sides but the people on the bench stay there while the two teams switch and have different colour bibs. Rules. So you know who is having the ball first you do rock paper scissors then who wins gets the ball first. To score you chuck the ball to your team mate on the bench then you go on the bench but you can't make some one else go on it you have to and then at the end if you don't have everybody the team with the most people wins or first to have everybody on the bench wins.
2. What aspect of teamwork did your team focus on?
My team focus on sharing the ball and I think we did that pretty well playing bench ball I recon the we got a 89% but I recon that we can get to 100%.
3. How well did your team go with your teamwork focus?
What could your team have done better?
I recon that we did pretty good but we shouldn't have tried to get the bad players on the bench first anyone on the bench doesn't matter if its the bad players or not. BLOG YO LATER!!!

Ripple, Being kind
Hi bloggers today in C.I.P we watched a video about this girl wanting to get stuff. But then her brother gets healthy stuff then her nanny or what ever she calls her said to go get her grandpa or what ever she calls him a cake for his birthday but when they got to the counter they didn't have enough money for it. So they returned it and the man that was behind them got it and chased after them. He gave it to them they asked for his name and he said just go with the man in the queue and the man in the queue had some one do the same thing to him and that person that did it to him was the little girls grandpa or what ever she calls him. He did a note to them saying a simple act of kindness creates an endless ripple. I recon that is a kind note to write. We watched this so everyone would do a kind thing every once and a while I recon that there is a lot of kindness in the video here it is. BLOG YOU LATER!!! CLICK ME.
