Maths interchange finished the red book

Hi bloggers last week in maths interchange I finished the red maths book p.g 99-101 I didn't do the blog last week when I finished it because I ran out of time so i'm doing the blog now anyway heres what I did.

For maths my favourite activity has been the red maths book because we had to use different strategies here is one of the strategies 6 rows of 4 would be 6X4=24 and that is how you know what how much there are without counting them. A Challenge for me this term is doing the speed test with times tables.co.nz where you pick 4 or more different times tables and do them in a certain amount of time. My goal for multiplication is to get faster and it because right now i'm pretty slow at it so that is one of my goals and that is what I want to achieve. Anyway hope you guys like this post and. Maths Interchange

Hi bloggers today in Maths interchange we did this really hard three part question. We had some groups hop into our group and help each other the teacher did it to everyone so like one group join another group and that's how hard it was. 

1. What was the activity. The activity was about how meany seagulls does it take to eat 273 worms and there were only 34 seagulls it was really hard tell me if you can complete it.

2. What strategy did your group try. My group tried a lot of strategy's one was just to keep plusing 11 and that didn't really work so they tried a different one.

3. What did you find challenging? I found that there were only 34 seagulls there and you had 273 to do so that was hard.

4. How well did your group work together? I recon we were okay working together I just think we could stop talking and focus on the work. Were you successful? I recon we were kind of successful but we could work on not talking and getting the work done on time. BLOG YOU LATER!!!
